Everyone Can Look Like Celebrity – Affordable Cosmetics

These days we are surrounded by public figures who look completly flawless whether it is a photo in a magazine or on television adverts and shows and we want to look just a great. It is rare, but it does happen, to photograph a celebrity when they are not wearing full makeup but we are all very quick to criticise when an image does appear in the media. It is a cold hard fact that we are in a world where lots of people are conscious about what make up to wear, what clothes they buy and how to wear their hair. In most cases a normal person does not have a personal trainer to keep them in shape or a stylist to tell them what to wear or the money to sustain that kind of lifestyle but celebs do have normal day to day pressures just like us. They are not invincible after all.

This has all been created via advertising and public figure endorsements but it does show us that everyone can create a terrific celebrity look but without the expensive price tag which goes with it. The media is full of many different public figures who endorse products across many different sectors such as make up products like eye makeup plus lip gloss, beauty and hair products, cosmetics, perfumes, food, drink, clothing and lots more. Most of the adverts we see on tv or in the media have a high list celebrity promoting a product line but wouldn’t adverts be a little boring without them?

Elizabeth Taylor in 1992 was the very first celeb to begin her own fragrance line with her perfume, White Diamonds and Audrey Hepburn was one of the first high society figures to endorse perfume back in 1957. There are now lots of celebs who have produced their very own cosmetics and perfume lines and these high list people have been endorsing make up and beauty products for a very long time although to us it may seem to be a very recent trend.

This will certainly continue to be the case as more new services and products are launched into the market place and younger, fresher, newer public figures emerge in readiness to take the reins. Are you influenced by celebrity endorsements when you when you make a purchase?

Traditional Make Up Looks This Halloween

With Halloween only a few days away many people may be going to parties and wondering what makeup to buy to create a great frightening look to scare off your friends. However normally people use powders and face paints but with every day make up you can still get that scary but super sexy vamp or goth look too. Remember Halloween doesn’t have to be all about ghouls and ghosts either but here are a few tips to create a great Halloween look using traditional make up.

To create that brilliant evil eye look you can try brushing white make up powder all over your eyes and eye brows and then apply black eye shadow all over your eyelids and blend this outwards. Not forgetting the dramatic [mascara]. Following these simple steps will make your eyes look like they are empty black holes, great for a ghostly look or a scary Goth vampire. Application of black [lipstick] is also a useful idea plus if you want a blood splatter effect on the side of your mouth then red lipstick is a winning combination. To spruce up your nails black nail polish is a must. Coupled with your Halloween outfit you will look terrific and the great thing is if you wear makeup day to day you will already have these products in your makeup bag so you will not have to fork out extra cash either. Leave the face paints for the kids.

This kind of look with a few changes will also work really well if you are thinking of going like a movie villain such as Voldemort from the Harry Potter films or maybe even heath ledger’s Joker character. You can be even more imaginative with your Halloween look if you want, the new Saw 3D movie hits cinemas in the UK this weekend so if you love blood, guts and gore then this will give you some great ideas. A few additions such as a fake nose, vampire teeth and a wig always come in useful too. If makeup is not for you then you can simply buy a mask but doesn’t that take all the fun out of it though?
